Retired

In April 2024 I reached retirement age and left Utrecht University after more than 40 years of working there. My farewell event took place at April 16th and many friendly words were spoken.

On the occasion of my farewell, I refrained from personal gifts, but asked my guests to donate something to the restoration project of the wonderful Blaschka collection of glass models, owned by the University Museum Utrecht.

My interest in the history of the university and the opportunity to contribute something lasting comes together nicely in this way.
