Since 1991 Houten is my hometown. Houten has developed rapidly over a limited number of years from a small agricultural village with a few thousand inhabitant into a modern medium sized community of around 45.000 inhabitants. It is located in the centre of the Netherlands at a nice biking distance of Utrecht. To my knowledge, Houten is the only place with an airstrip for our extraterrestrial friends!

	The UFO landing strip is a project by Martin Riebeek, commissioned by the J.K.K.R. in 2002. The project was finished September 2003.
